The Problem
As the most prominent land conservation non-profit in Upstate SC, SPACE needed their major annual fundraising events (like Dinner on the Shoals and A Shucking Good Time) to feel like premium, highly anticipated community experiences. In the non-profit world, generic digital promotions don’t drive event ticket sales or donor engagement. They needed consistent visual identity systems that could be adapted to tangible brand merch and high-end event signage.
The Strategy & Tangible Execution
Over partnership spanning several years, I stepped in as a creative to handle everything from initial event logo marks to physical production and on-site media. I custom-designed high-impact event posters and custom apparel lines including branded t-shirts and outdoor ball caps built to connect with their outdoor-loving donor base. Finally, I provided high-end event photography during the live fundraisers, giving them a rich library of authentic human assets to fuel their future marketing, grant proposals, and donor outreach.

Digital & Physical Deliverables

What the client had to say …
“Budget is always an issue for us and Heather has shown time and time again that she is able to give us a quality graphic design product within the confines of the funds we have available. Through her work she has been a great supporter of our nonprofit work and I know for many others. If you are a nonprofit or small business, I highly recommend Heather Marie Creative.”
